The feeling of becoming a first time mom

Becoming a first time mom, for me it was a mid December morning. I was big and round like a beach ball some would have said. I was nine months pregnant for my first child, I was still a child myself. I wasn't  quite eighteen yet, it was about two weeks before my eighteenth birthday, so my mother had to come to the hospital to sign papers because I was under age. I was in labor for over twenty hours, took all the la maze classes and was ready to have this baby any day now. The pain started and was unbearable but I knew it was time to deliver the baby. they contractions kept coming closer and closer. I just wanted it all to end. but had to do as my doctor asked of me and to push hard and long to get the baby to start coming out. Here comes the head he said.  It took over forty five minutes to push her out.  but it was done a beautiful baby girl was born on this December's day. For first time mom's it's hard to understand the feeling you have when you see your child being born and a new life begins for both of you.  There are lots of steps to take to becoming a great mom.  there is lots of programs and advice out there if you wish to seek some advice for first time mom's I have contained a few helpful links.

Mom's in today's world

Being a mother in today's world is harder then ever before, more mom's are working and raising there kids, home schooling their kids, doing the job of two parents, and feeling the depression that we are in. Money is tighter and can not stretch as far as it use too.  Job's are not as easy to find or to hold on to. Some find it easier to home school their kids to save money on tuition. Working mom's have less time to spend with their children, how can this be changed? Mom's need to keep in mind children have feeling too. Kid's these day's need our guidance and support, simple as giving them a hug and tell them good job when the accomplished something that is important to them. Mom's need to pull together and come up with a plan that they can try to accomplish on a day to day basis with their kids. This plan can be composed with chores that need to be done, homework, after school hobbies, and their goals to be set for the future. Mom's also should strive to make goals that they want to accomplish now or in the future. remember us mom's need to stick together and try to build a better future for our children and ourselves.
